The purpose of this system is to color the wood with our one-coat product called UN1CO (oil-based) and finish it with a high traffic water-based for extra protection.

Step one -  Pre-color (optional)

Apply a Reactive Stain or Aquastain

Step two - Color with UNICO (2 component, 1-coat oil to color and protect)

Always use the UN1CO with the hardener. Always remove the excess oil until the surface feels dry to the touch.

Before applying the FORTICO 2C, allow the UN1CO to dry for at least 48 hours in a well-ventilated area.

Strep three - Two coats of FORTICO 2C (PU waterborne finish)

Only use the 2-component FORTICO 2C when used on top of the UN1CO.

Dry times:  1st coat +/- 4h   2nd coat +/- 6-12h
