The color you want starts before the finish

Transform the tone. Preserve the character.

Pink Blocker 2C acts on the wood's pink and red appearance to create a visually more neutral base.

The grain remains the focus, ready for the selected finish with a calmer, more contemporary result.

The reaction, up close

It does not cover the grain.
It transforms the tone.

The pink is neutralized. The natural texture remains.

A better base changes the entire project.

Designed for professionals who want to control warm tones without covering the wood's natural identity.

Simple system. Controlled result.

Three steps to visually more neutral wood.

1

Prepare

Sand the wood correctly and remove all dust before starting.

2

Mix and apply

Combine Clear and Stain in a 1:1 ratio. Apply in the direction of the grain and even out with a brush.

3

Let it react

Allow at least 12 hours, lightly smooth the surface, and continue with the selected protection system.

The final tone depends on the wood species, sanding, and applied amount. Always make a preliminary test and follow the product technical data sheet. Use corrosion-resistant tools.

Product field guide

Open each relevant step for product-specific preparation, application, finishing and long-term care. Only applicable stages are shown.

Preparation

Make sure that all old finish coats are completely removed and that the floor is free from dust and other dirt. Can be used on sanded, planed and brushed wood. Pre-wetting the wood can reduce the risk of overlapping.

Application

Mix the PINK BLOCKER CLEAR with the PINK BLOCKER STAIN in a ratio of 1/1. Apply the product evenly with sprayer, roller or brush and then even out with a brush, T-bar or mop.

Pink Blocker can “pop” the grain so it is suggested that you smoothen the surface after the full reaction time with a buffing pad. Afterwards, the surface should be made dust free, prior to finishing with an oil or waterborne finish from the Ciranova® range. Please contact Ciranova® Technical Support for information about using a waterborne finish.

Continue the system

A stain can be applied afterward, and a finish on top.

This product is not a finish, it needs to be protected, with a Ciranova finish product.

Maintain

Maintain the completed surface with products and intervals appropriate to the final protective finish. Follow the maintenance guidance for the system used.
