COMPLETE THE SYSTEM

Build protection in the correct sequence.

Preparation, primer, finish and compatible care work together to control appearance and performance.

Professional wood finishing

Specify the whole system.

The final result depends on the wood, preparation, application, and compatible finishing system. Remove uncertainty before the full project.

  1. 01

    Test the actual wood

Species, tannin content, grain, and sanding can materially change color and absorption.

  2. 02

    Calculate the system

Confirm coverage, number of coats, hardener ratio, tools, and site conditions before ordering.

  3. 03

    Follow technical data

Use the current preparation, application, drying, and maintenance instructions for the selected product.

Preparation

Make sure all prior coatings are completely removed and the wood surface is free from dust and other contamination. Can be used on sanded, planed and brushed wood. For under-floor heating, exotic wood and cork, FORTICO sealer is recommended as primer.

Application

Use EASY FLOW 1C as a primer and finishing coat. Apply the product by brush or roller in 3 coats.

First coat: apply approx. 80-100 g/m² and leave to dry for approx. 4 hours. Second coat: apply approx. 80-100 g/m² in the same manner as the first coat and leave to dry for +/- 6 hours. Before applying the 3th coat intermediate sanding with 180-220 grain, remove dust and apply the third coat approx. 80-100 g/m².

Maintenance

Regular maintenance with Hard Floor Fresh Ciranova®. Use UNICARE X-MATT or Hard floor Polish for periodic maintenance. Hard Floor Cleaner Ciranova® is used for cleaning highly soiled floors and to remove old layers of polish.
