ECOFIX PLUS is an invisible, 35% Bio-based, environmentally friendly, water-based PU impregnating oil for parquet and wooden furniture. The wood will have an untreated and ultra matte appearance. ECOFIX PLUS is non yellowing and has anti-slip properties. The mechanical & chemical resistance can be further improved by adding a hardener.

As a trendsetter in invisible finishings, we developed the Ciranova Plus range by means of open innovation with DSM. The new products are OCULTO PLUS, ECOFIX PLUS and WOODLOOK PLUS.

The Ciranova Plus range is composed of new and improved products for which biobased raw materials are used without compromising performance. The ultra self-matting flooring resin used in these products ensures natural-looking floors with the lowest gloss achievable and an ultimate protection.

Preparation

Make sure all prior coatings are completely removed and the wood surface is free from dust and other contamination. Can be used on sanded, planed and brushed wood.

Application

ECOFIX PLUS can be used both as a primer and as a finishing coat. It can be applied in three coats. Stir thoroughly before use and do not dilute. Apply the product using a roller or brush. A short-pile roller is recommended (microfiber 4-6mm). Contact Ciranova technical support for spray application. Apply the first coat in the direction of the wood. After 4-6 hours, apply a second coat in the same way as the first coat. Let dry for 12-24 hours and afterwards do an intermediate sanding using grit 180-220, then apply the third coat.
