CiranovaStore.com supplies professional wood finishing systems. Because these are chemical and reactive products, specific return conditions apply to ensure safety, product integrity, and fairness to all customers.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Return Window
Conditional returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of confirmed delivery.
All returns require:
- Prior approval
- A valid RA# (Return Authorization Number)
Returns sent without an approved RA# will not be accepted.
2. Opened Products Cannot Be Returned
Due to the chemical nature of our products:
- Opened cans or containers are non-returnable
- Broken seals are non-returnable
- Mixed or catalyzed products (oil + hardener) are non-returnable
- Partially used products are non-returnable
Once opened, we cannot verify storage conditions, contamination risk, or product integrity. Therefore, opened products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
3. Color Results – Testing Is Required
Ciranova products—including but not limited to Reactive Stains, Vintage, Aquavintage 2C and color systems—interact with the natural tannins, grain structure, and characteristics of the wood.
Final results vary depending on:
- Wood species
- Tannin content
- Sanding method
- Application technique
- Topcoat system
- Environmental conditions
Returns or refunds will not be accepted based on dissatisfaction with color outcome.
We sell 100 ml sample bottles and sample kits specifically so customers can test and approve color before purchasing larger quantities.
It is the customer’s responsibility to test the full system (color + protection) on the actual wood being used.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- Opened products
- Samples and sample-size items
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Free promotional items
- Custom or special-order products
5. Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to: 20% restocking fee (minimum $25).
Returned products must be:
- Unopened
- Undamaged
- In original packaging
- In resalable condition
Items not meeting these standards may be refused.
6. Incorrect Items (Our Error)
If you receive an incorrect item:
- Contact us immediately
- Provide proof of purchase
- Keep product unopened
Once verified, we will arrange return shipping and send the correct item at no cost to you.
7. Shipping Damage
If your order arrives damaged:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
- Email clear photos to: order@ciranovastore.com
- Retain all packaging
Cosmetic packaging damage alone does not automatically qualify for refund if contents remain intact.
Claims submitted after 24 hours may be denied due to carrier insurance requirements.
8. Faulty Products
If you believe a product is defective:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery
- Do not return without authorization
Products may require inspection or testing.
If testing confirms no defect, the product will be returned at the customer’s expense.
9. International Orders – Customs & Liability
CiranovaStore.com is located in the United States. All international orders are shipped from the USA.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and agree:
- The customer is fully responsible for all customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, and clearance charges.
- We are not responsible for customs delays, inspections, seizures, or import restrictions in your country.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the ordered products comply with local regulations before purchase.
- We are not liable for products refused, destroyed, or held by customs authorities.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid duties or failed customs clearance:
- All return shipping costs, customs charges, and original outbound shipping costs will be deducted from any eligible refund.
In some cases, international carriers do not return chemical products. If a shipment is destroyed or abandoned by customs, no refund will be issued.
We strongly recommend international customers confirm import regulations prior to ordering.
10. Shipping Costs & Refund Amount
Refunds:
- Exclude original shipping charges
- Exclude payment processing fees
- Are issued only to the original payment method
If your order qualified for “Free Shipping,” the actual outbound shipping cost incurred by us will be deducted from the refund.
11. Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after inspection and approval of returned goods. Bank processing times may vary.

- We are not responsible for application errors, sanding mistakes, improper system combinations, or site conditions.
These are professional finishing systems, not consumer “paint-and-go” coatings.
